Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Equine Ambulatory Veterinarian to join our team. Responsibilities will include diagnosing and treating equine health issues, conducting routine check-ups, and offering expert advice to horse owners. This role offers the opportunity to work with a wide variety of equine patients and be a vital part of their well-being.
Full time or part time available with flexible schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough examinations, diagnostics, and medical procedures on equine patients.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of equine health conditions, including lameness, colic, respiratory issues, and more.
- Administer vaccinations, perform dental care, and provide routine preventive care.
- Collaborate with clients to develop and implement customized treatment plans.
- Provide emergency veterinary services when required.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
- Educate clients on horse health and wellness, offering guidance on nutrition, exercise, and preventative care.

Qualifications:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
- State license to practice veterinary medicine in CA
- Strong passion for equine health and well-being.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Internship preferred but not required for the right candidate.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
