Dunes Animal Hospital, a progressive and modern companion animal practice, is seeking an enthusiastic and team oriented Associate Veterinarian to join our growing three doctor practice.

The ideal candidate is personable, compassionate, confident, hardworking, and skilled in companion animal medicine.  Those interested in part time are also welcome to apply.

Dunes Animal Hospital is a well-established, full-service, small animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care. We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories.

At Dunes Animal Hospital, we are passionate about providing exceptional care and service to our patients and their families and providing an environment that our staff can be successful in.

• We are a 3-doctor, progressive, paperless family practice that offers state-of-the-art medical care
• We are highly focused on wellness/preventative medicine, orthopedic surgeries and diagnostic medicine.
• We encourage and support the cultivation of doctors’ special veterinary interests.
• Well-stocked pharmacy, an in-hospital surgery suite
• Our equipment includes:
  • Digital x-ray
  • Complete in-house laboratory, as well as Idexx referral lab
  • Ultrasound capability
  • Electronic medical records
  • Complete pharmacy - large inventory of established pharmaceuticals as well as many of the latest developments

Our practice is open Monday-Friday 7:30 am to 5:30 pm and Saturdays 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.

Location:

We are located in beautiful southeast South Dakota in the small community of Dakota Dunes.  The area provides excellent outdoor activities including camping, hiking, fishing, hunting, and water sports.  We are conveniently located just minutes from Sioux City, Iowa.
