A group of three, veterinary hospitals in the St. Louis area are inviting applications for positions as full or part time, companion animal veterinarians. We are a group of veterinarians and paraprofessional colleagues who believe that veterinary medicine is the most noble profession, a calling to care for those who cannot care for themselves. We believe in providing comprehensive and dedicated service to our clients and patients. Towards that end, we work constantly to develop our skills by studying, attending continuing education, and by mentoring each other.
New and recent graduates are encouraged to apply. We recognize that veterinarians who are early in their careers will need support from our experienced doctors and technicians. We try to ensure that their is always a doctor available in the hospitals for consultation. While will not look over your shoulder, we want to ensure that you have the resources you need to succeed. One of our senior doctors, usually the owner, are often found in the office after hours, talking over cases with younger partners. While we offer our perspective, we are excited by your knowledge and opinions. We ensure that our young doctors are given the opportunity to attend short courses in their area of interest during their first year of employment. As an example, both of our younger doctors have completed five day courses in surgery at the North American Veterinary Institute in Orlando.
Together we will map out a plan for your professional development.
The position offers experienced veterinarians the opportunity to grow their skills through similar training in medicine, surgery, and if they so choose, management. All of our doctors are viewed as partners in the practice and we are developing and equity program for all key staff member.

A day care facility is located right across the street from two of our hospitals. Currently, no office is open later than 6:30 and Saturdays are generally half days.

Watson Road Veterinary Clinic and Hampton Animal Hospital have been part of their neighborhoods for forty plus years. They are located in the heart of the south St. Louis near the "Hill". The neighborhoods are generational. Many young adults choose to live in the area where they grew up because of the wonderful parks, clean streets, safe neighborhoods and strong churches. The culinary scene is unmatched with scores of independently owned restaurants of all flavors. The area is a short distance from Barnes Hospital and the Washington University Medical Center. Grocery stores, Target, and other amenities are all walkable. Weekend concerts in the park, a weekly farmers' market, and the Missouri Botanical Gardens are all in our area. Forest Park with the zoo, Muny opera, Boathouse, golf courses and museums is just a short distance from the hospitals.
Harvester Animal Clinic was founded in 1976. The hospital recently moved to a state of the art, free standing facility in the middle of St. Charles County. Annually, St. Charles is one of the fastest growing counties in Missouri because of the availability of good jobs, strong school system, and affordable neighborhoods. Large employers such as General Motors, Mastercard and Boeing have chosen St. Charles when they have expanded. St. Peters offers a wonderful community center complete with an Olympic caliber pool, two ice rinks and more.

Harvester Animal Clinic is a family orientated small animal clinic that was founded in the 1970s and is serving its third generation of clients. We have recently moved into a new, state of the art hospital. The hospital was designed to reduce the stress of our patients and staff but incorporating natural sunlight into the exam rooms, providing separate canine and feline wings of the hospital, and using couches and climbers to make our patients feel at home in the exam rooms.
Located in a quiet corner of the fastest growing county in Missouri, Harvester services a clientele that ranges from retirees to young families. The practice has been growing rapidly during the past two years because of our efforts to serve clients and their pets. We have offer ultrasound services, a full IDEXX diagnostic in-house laboratory, endoscopy, and more advanced surgical services such as bone plating. We work with a number of rescue groups including the county shelter to care for pets in need. The practice services primarily dogs and cats but also offers care for rabbits and pocket pets.
Watson Road Veterinary Clinic and Hampton Animal Hospital have been serving their communities in south St. L...ouis for 40 years. The hospitals are located near the famed Italian neighborhood, "The Hill" in the "SoHa" district of south St. Louis, one of the most vital and growing areas of the City. We are close to the Washington University Medical School, the Missouri Botanical Gardens, Forest Park, and countless great restaurants and meeting places. The neighborhood is affordable for first time home buyers and has many families who have called the area home for generations. The Hampton Animal Hospital was purchased two years ago. We have added a full dental suite, increased surgical capabilities, added the Idexx laboratory, and new imaging capabilities. The practice is a quiet and pleasant place to work. The clients choose the practice not because it is inexpensive but because of the personal care they receive. We enjoy seeing our clients out walking in the neighborhood, at our favorite Italian bakery, or seated on the patio of one of our local restaurants. What a great place to work and live.
We appreciated the area so much that we have recently acquired Watson Road Veterinary Clinic. The Clinic is one of the busiest in the area because of its dedication to patients. It is not uncommon for us to see several generations of a families. The practice offers ultrasound, soft tissue surgery, a full dental suite, and Idexx in house laboratory. The practice is in such demand that we have not been able to see new families until recently. The practice has three, greatly experienced veterinarians and would be a wonderful place for a new or recent graduate to be mentored. Experienced doctors would have the opportunity to take a leadership role in the practice if they should desire.
